Ingredients
1 can of garbanzo beans - mostly drained - save some liquid
1 tsp of olive oil
⅓ cup of tahini
1 lime or lemon juiced
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of cumin
1 tsp of garlic powder
Cooking Instructions
Blend everything together until smooth, if making flavored hummus add in what you want before it's completely smooth.
Optional Flavors:
Sun-dried tomato - add in 1 jar of sun dried tomatoes packed in oil but drained
Green goddess: FRESH Cilantro, Parsley, Chives, (½ bunch of each) 1 tsp Dried Tarragon
Lemon: Use 2-3 lemons depending on how lemony you really want it
Roasted garlic: Roast a head of garlic in the oven at 400, cut the top off, drizzle with olive oil and bundle in foil.
